Historic Odessa Foundation Announces Access Program for Low-Income Families — Museums for All to increase accessibility of high-quality museum learning resources
The Historic Odessa Foundation celebrates classic children’s literature and a love of reading by showcasing holiday trees decorated by community and school groups.
The first "Christmas in Odessa" took place 59 years ago as a fundraiser for the Women's Club of Odessa. The purpose was to fund college scholarships for local high school seniors. With the help and cooperation of Odessa homeowners and the Historic Odessa Foundation, the Women’s Club of Odessa has provided scholarships to over 100 students.
You are invited to step back in time through the doors of the Historic Odessa Foundation and explore the Christmas traditions of yesteryear! Participants experience a special candlelight tour of our 2023 holiday exhibit.

Saint Nicholas Arrives on Saint Nicholas Day (December 6th)! Join HOF and the Corbit-Calloway Memorial Library as we read excerpts from this year’s Historic Odessa Foundation’s featured work of classic children’s literature.
Put on your comfortable dancing shoes and festive attire to enjoy a lively evening of English country dance hosted by the Historic Odessa Foundation in partnership with The Dover English Country Dancers.
The Historic Odessa Foundation is delighted to present a bicentennial celebration, in conjunction with museums across the country, of the American poem 'Twas the Night Before Christmas by Clement Clark Moore with an engaging presentation and book signing by the distinguished author Pamela McColl.
