Saint Nicholas Arrives on Saint Nicholas Day (December 6th)! Join HOF and the Corbit-Calloway Memorial Library as we read excerpts from this year’s Historic Odessa Foundation’s featured work of classic children’s literature.

In conjunction with Storybook Time and the Odessa County Christmas exhibit, Account of a Visit from Saint Nicholas there will be a reading of the American classic poem by Clement Clarke Moore, celebrating its 200th anniversary!  Commemorative books that would make wonderful Christmas presents will be available for purchase.

When we are young, we believe in Santa.  As we get older, we are Santa's.  Then, as we age, we look like Santa.  And some of us obtain those magic powers and awaken those sleepy few doubtful souls.
