Historic Odessa Foundation welcomes Delaware teachers for a familiarization tour of our school program. Participants in this workshop will experience a sampler of colonial and post-revolutionary life offered for students in nine interactive, experiential, and highly engaging components. May be counted as personal inservice credit. Reservations required through the Delaware Teacher Center.
Meghan will guide you through a Vinyasa Flow (breath linked movement) class each Friday morning in the beautiful Visitor's Center, 201 Main St., Odessa.
Beginners are always encouraged to try their first class here in our non-judgmental and welcoming community.
All classes are just $10 to drop in, no pre-registration is required.
Watch for monthly Thursday night specialty classes as well as weekend workshops.

In 1845, a fugitive slave from Maryland named Sam approached the Corbit home begging for refuge. Sam was hidden by Mary Corbit behind this tiny door in the attic of the Corbit-Sharp house.

Because the Corbit-Sharp house remained in the Corbit family until the mid-20th century, we know an exceptional amount about the home's history and furnishings.
Guests transported themselves into Alice’s curious dream where the period rooms of the National Historic Register, Wilson-Warner House were transformed into fantastic vignettes adapted from Lewis Carroll’s classic tale. The original manuscript was presented by the author as “A Christmas gift to a dear child (Alice Liddell) in memory of a summer day.” The document was later published in time for Christmas in 1865.
