Every evening throughout the month of October the Historic Odessa Foundation’s Corbit-Sharp House will be awash in pink light in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Visitors can stop by after dusk to view the National Historic Landmark in all its pink splendor.
Please join us in this festive display of over 30 trees decorated by local families, schools, and organizations showcasing books and works of children’s literature. Our Storybook trees exhibit is designed to promote reading and literacy,and is appropriate for all age groups Participants choose a book of their choice to use as a theme for decorations, trees and lights are provided by the Historic Odessa Foundation.

Join us in the Collins-Sharp House for an hour of storytelling, crafts and refreshments.
Join William Corbit as he presents an engaging guided tour of his mansion on Main Street in Cantwell’s Bridge (Odessa). Hear about his growing family, his grand house on the Appoquinimink, and his fine furnishings from the region.
This lecture is being hosted by the Historic Odessa Foundation in celebration of International Archaeology Day - - a world-wide celebration of archaeology-related events.
