Holiday Exhibit: "The Secret Garden"
This holiday season don’t miss the Historic Odessa Foundation’s renowned annual Christmas tradition of transforming one of their historic houses into an exhibition of classic literature.
The Secret Garden
The National Historic Landmark Corbit-Sharp House will be marvelously adapted into scenes based upon the classic children’s novel, The Secret Garden, written by the English novelist and playwright Francis Hodgson Burnett (1849-1924) and published as a book in 1911.
Be enchanted with room vignettes to include those of Misselthwaite Manor and its secret garden. Relive the experiences of the character Mary Lennox and her discovery of the walled garden which she restores to invigorate the spirit of character Colin Craven. Rejuvenate your spirit this Christmas by touring this memorable exhibition.
