The Historic Odessa Foundation is pleased to host a wonderful private collection of theorem paintings. The collection represents 30 years of acquiring these prized folk art pieces.
The HISTORIC ODESSA FOUNDATION is pleased to host a collection of 49 colorful theorem paintings created by Noreen Taylor, of Dover, Delaware. Taylor has been named as a top 200 artisan in the Early American Life Magazine. Her work consistently appears in the magazine’s annual directory.
Come join the talented early American artist Noreen Taylor for an unforgettable evening of creativity and fun. Participants can choose to create a theorem painting illustrating a tree of life with apples and pears OR a bird on a branch. The artwork will be ready to take home, frame, and show off to all.
Calling all quilters and needlewomen…please join HOF staff and volunteers for our annual “Sew In”
Participants gather to sew and socialize with others with similar interests and should bring their projects, sewing equipment, and a bag lunch.
Beverages are provided. In addition the Program includes a tour of the HOF needlework collection.
Time travelers will leave the HOF Visitor’s Center no later than 9:00 am arriving for a tour of Thomas Leiper House, c. 1785, in Wallingford by approximately 10:00 am.
