To preserve and promote the houses, grounds, collections, and historic legacy of Odessa, Delaware. The Foundation maintains Odessa’s assets, supports scholarly and archeological work, and educates the public about the town and the state of Delaware in the 18th and 19th centuries.
Relatively untouched by the development typical of urban areas, Historic Odessa offers a well- documented picture of 18th- and 19th-century lifestyles in a rural village that played a vital part in America’s commercial history.
