Historic Odessa has reopened for Spring tours

Historic Odessa reopens for Spring tours on May 1st. HOF is open to the public through December, Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM – 4:30 PM and Sunday 1 PM – 4:30 PM, Monday by reservation. 

Spring is a beautiful time to visit Historic Odessa with flowering trees, bulbs and blooms. Our seasonal calendar of events includes our free annual Easter egg hunt, exhibits and special events. Historic Odessa, an official Delaware Must-Do according to Delaware Today magazine, is a great family outing in Delaware for all ages!

Exhibit: Potpourri of the Palette: Watercolor Paintings by Linda Hall

Reception: Thursday, May 13, 2021 - 6:00pm

The Historic Odessa Foundation is pleased to present a colorful late spring and early summer art exhibition titled Potpourri of the Palette:  Watercolor Paintings by Linda Hall. 

Be introduced to the talented artist whose vibrant artworks are on display at the Historic Odessa Foundation’s Visitor Center. 

This meet and greet artist reception is held in conjunction with the art exhibition, Potpourri of the Palette:  Watercolor Paintings by Linda Hall (Tuesday, May 4, 2021 to Sunday, June 27, 2021).  The neighboring Eastern Shore Maryland artist, Linda Hall will be on hand to take questions concerning her art approaches, inspirations and techniques in creating colorful watercolor paintings.  Mingle with other HOF members and invited guests during the event while discerning a wonderful collection of beautiful flower still life and landscape watercolor paintings.

Explore the Collins-Sharp House as our costumed interpreters capture the flavors of authentic 18th-century cooking.  Savor the sights and aromas of spring dishes cooked over an open fire using the tools, recipes and techniques common in colonial Odessa.
