Exhibit: "Delaware Collects: Stenciled, Painted and Framed - An American Theorem Collection"

View a wonderful collection of theorem paintings on display in the National Historic Register, Wilson-Warner House.

The Historic Odessa Foundation is pleased to host a wonderful private collection of theorem paintings.  The collection represents 30 years of acquiring these prized folk art pieces.

Discover highlights of the rich history awaiting visitors to this charming Delaware River community that flourished as a marketing hub from the mid-18th through early 19th centuries. William Corbit and David Wilson, patriarchs of two of the town’s most prosperous families, built magnificent houses and filled them with the outward trappings of their success.

Realize how the wonderful Corbit-Sharp House model/diorama has been restored and how it can be used as an educational tool in exploring orientation concepts related to the National Historic Landmark House.  Old photographs from the HOF collection will be shown to help interpret the 1967 scale model which is now installed in the back vestibule of the Visitor’s Center/Bank Building.  Learn how HO
