The Historic Odessa Foundation is pleased to announce As Precious as Gold: A History of Tea Caddies from The Bramble Collection, a temporary exhibition that includes 18th and 19th century tea caddies from the vast Bramble collection, opening on April 3, and continuing through August 26, 2018.  The collection was built over two generations and features more than 400 examples, spanning the period from 1700 to the present.

In conjunction with the exhibit, As Precious As Gold: A History of Tea Caddies from the Bramble Collection, meet Broadway author and art collector Mark Bramble, guest curator of the loan exhibit, as he discusses his family’s collection of tea caddies. Copies of his new publication, A Tea Caddy Collection (Schiffer, 2017) will be available for purchase and signing during the reception and after his talk. HOF members and invited guests will have the opportunity to view the exhibit at the National Historic Landmark, Corbit Sharp House and the National Historic Register, Wilson Warner House after Bramble’s presentation.
