Lecture: "Alice: 150 Years of Wonderland"

A lecture, "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland," will be held Dec. 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the Visitor's Center in Odessa. Carolyn Vega, curator of the "Alice: 150 Years in Wonderland" exhibit at the Morgan Library & Museum in New York City, presents an engaging account of the genesis, publication, and enduring appeal of Lewis Carroll's classic tale.

Curator Christmas Exhibit Presentation

Discover the inspiration behind the Christmas exhibit, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, from the curator who created the festive display. Learn how the furnishings and decorations were placed in each room vignette to recreate the holiday story.  Lewis Carroll’s classic story was published in time for Christmas in 1865.  Celebrate the story’s 150th year!

Picture Perfect: 19th Century Photographic Portraits from the HOF Collection
