Delaware Sampler Identification Days

Bring your antique needlework samplers to one of the two fall Sampler ID Days to be photographed and documented for the Sampler Archive Project, a national online sampler database. In an effort to uncover even more examples of schoolgirl needlework in Delaware, we are hosting two more Sampler ID Days, the first on Sunday, September 21 at the Biggs Museum in Dover and the second on Saturday, November 22 at the Historic Odessa Foundation in Odessa. All samplers and related girlhood embroideries will be professionally photographed and documented for inclusion in the Sampler Archive, an online national database that will debut to the public in 2015 (http://samplerarchive.org).
