Artist Reception & Book Signing: The Keepers of Color

Come meet and greet two distinguished Wilmington, Delaware artists and discover the celebrated Loper Tradition in art and its approach to painting. 

This event is held in conjunction with the current art exhibition, The Keepers of Color: Paintings by Marilyn Bauman and Edward Loper, Jr. (Tuesday, May 14 – Sunday, July 28, 2019) at the Historic Odessa Foundation’s Visitor Center.  Bauman will conduct a book signing of her two Loper related books (Not My Dad, Edward L. Loper, Jr.’s Creative Odyssey, 2019; and Edward L. Loper, Sr., The Prophet of Color; A Disciple’s Reflections, 1999)  that can be purchased at the event.  Mingle with other HOF members and invited guests during the reception and discuss the two artist’s accomplishments.
