On display for the first time in Odessa is an exhibit of the colorful pastel drawings and oil paintings of the beloved artist from New Castle, Delaware, Dennis Young. His plein air (outdoor) artwork of regional scenes will fill the walls of the HOF Visitor’s Center. Young’s artwork has been frequently juried into art galleries and events though out the Mid-Atlantic States and beyond. His artwork can be found in numerous public and private collections.

Every evening throughout the month of October the Historic Odessa Foundation’s buildings will be awash in pink light in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Visitors can stop by after dusk to view the landmarks in all its pink splendor.
Please join us in this festive display of over 30 trees decorated by local families, schools, and organizations showcasing books and works of children’s literature. Our Storybook trees exhibit is designed to promote reading and literacy, and is appropriate for all age groups.
Stuart Clarke Photography featured the Historic Odessa Foundation as a top pick for "Historic Houses Decorated For Christmas". A total of 16 historic houses from across the United States were featured based on creative design, historical accuracy, and holiday spirit.
Delaware Shakespeare Festival returns to a world of specters and spirits this October with two performances of “Shakespeare/Poe: A Night of Readings from the Dark Side,” at Historic Odessa's Stone Stable.

Come to a fun Halloween event in historic Odessa, Del. Parade through the garden, bring a carved pumpkin for the contest and age-appropriate crafts will be held in the Wilson-Warner Stable.
