A festive display of Christmas trees decorated by local families, schools and organizations will reflect books and works of children’s literature.
A magical collection of dollhouses from 1910 - 1980 will be on display in the Wilson-Warner House.
The Historic Houses of Odessa will be open Monday through Friday the week of 12/26–12/31.
The Historic Houses of Odessa are open to the public March through December, Wednesday through Saturday, 10 AM – 4:30 PM and Sunday 1 PM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Tuesday by reservation.
The Historic Houses of Odessa are closed January and February, Easter, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
This rare example of hand-painted Chinese wallpaper is from the dining room of the Corbit-Sharp House (1774). The wallpaper is a good example of the kind of unique export product made in the 18th century that helped to establish the popularity of wallpaper in England and America.
