Curator Christmas Exhibit Presentation

Thursday, December 17, 2015 - 3:30pm to 5:30pm

Discover the inspiration behind the Christmas exhibit, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, from the curator who created the festive display. Learn how the furnishings and decorations were placed in each room vignette to recreate the holiday story.  Lewis Carroll’s classic story was published in time for Christmas in 1865.  Celebrate the story’s 150th year!

This presentation is similar to what the museum guides receive before leading tours through the holiday exhibit. Get an insider’s look into how the National Historic Register, Wilson-Warner House was transformed for Christmas.  At the conclusion of the talk participants may journey to the wonderland exhibit.
